Balgay Farmstay offers you the unique experience of farm life in the high country. Visit with the resident cattle herd or the number of horses we have on the property. With a large number of native animals there is always something to see.

Balgay is situated close to the Great Dividing Range rising to 1300m and therefore offers wonderful views of the Monaro plains. The property is ideal for a leisurely or challenging bushwalk or mountain biking.

Frying Pan Cove on Lake Eucumbene is only a 10 min drive from Balgay, and with plenty of rivers, and trout streams across the Monaro and the High country it is an ideal base for the keen angler.

The Snowy Mountains are undoubtedly known for their winter sports. The resorts of Thredbo & Perisher and the family friendly Selwyn Snowfields are all an easy 60 min drive.
